GREAT PLAINS MILLWORK ANNOUNCES NEW BUSINESS DIVISION FOR RESIDENTIAL WINDOW REPLACEMENT CALLED GREAT PLAINS WINDOWS AND DOORS

Oakdale, MN – June 30th, 2016 – Great Plains Millwork, a premium building products supplier in the Twin Cities metro area, has created a new business division focused on residential window and door replacement. The new division is called Great Plains Windows and Doors and is based out of Great Plains Millwork’s Oakdale, MN facility.

“We just couldn’t keep turning people away,” said Jim Clark, President of Great Plains Millwork, citing a growing demand for installation services from clients. He added, “There is very little brand allegiance in the window replacement market and we saw an opportunity to partner and grow with Andersen Windows as a replacement specialist.”

The partnership he references with Andersen Windows is unique because Great Plains Windows and Doors becomes the sole Andersen-Only replacement window and door contractor in the Twin Cities.

“There is an opportunity to put some great people to work and build on our tradition with Andersen,” said Clark. The company plans to add between 6 and 10 employees in the next year and has an optimistic outlook on the Twin Cities replacement market.

Great Plains Millwork will continue to provide building products like doors, windows, millwork, and stairparts to builders and remodelers throughout the Twin Cities area. But Clark isn’t worried about overlap between the businesses saying, “The best part of all of this is that we aren’t competing with our existing customers, we’re complementing them by delivering on the recipe we’ve had for 25 years – Great Products, Great Service, Great Plains.”
